Export Data as CSV

From the EnaCast admin panel you can export your listing data in CSV (comma-separated values) format, compatible with spreadsheet applications such as Excel, Google Sheets or LibreOffice Calc.

What Data You Can Export

You can export listings from the main sections of the panel:

News

The news CSV file includes the following columns:

Column	Description
Headline	News article title
Status	Published, draft or scheduled
Publication date	Date and time of publication
Tags	Tags assigned to the article
Author	Article author
Reads	Number of recorded reads

Episodes

Column	Description
Program	Name of the program it belongs to
Title	Episode title
Broadcast date	Date and time of the recording
Duration	Audio duration
Status	Transcription status

Programs

Column	Description
Name	Program name
Category	Assigned category
Transcription	Configured transcription level
Episodes	Total number of episodes

How to Export

1. Go to the listing of the section you want to export (news, episodes, programs)
2. Optionally, apply filters to narrow down the data you need
3. Click the Export CSV button in the listing toolbar
4. The file will download automatically in your browser

Tip

If you only need to export a subset of data, use the search and date filters before exporting. The CSV will include only the items visible in the filtered listing.

Opening the CSV File

The exported file uses UTF-8 encoding and comma separators. To open it correctly:

• Excel: use Data > Get Data > From CSV File and select UTF-8 encoding
• Google Sheets: upload the file directly — it is detected automatically
• LibreOffice Calc: when opening, select UTF-8 as encoding and comma as separator

Special characters

If you see strange characters instead of accents and special characters when opening the CSV, check that you are using UTF-8 encoding when importing the file.

Common Uses

• Monthly reports: export the month’s news to include in activity reports
• Audience analysis: export episodes with their playback data to analyse trends
• Program inventory: export the full list of programs with their transcription configuration
• Content audit: review the publication status of all news articles or episodes
