Agenda and Events

EnaCast includes an agenda module that lets you publish events on your station’s website. Listeners can browse upcoming events, filter them by tag, and access information such as the date, time, location, and related links.

Creating an Event

1. Open the agenda: go to the management panel at studio.enacast.com and, in the sidebar, under Content, open Agenda

2. Click “New Event” at the top right

3. Fill in the event details:

   • Title: event name (maximum 80 characters)
   • Short description: event summary (maximum 240 characters)
   • Location: where the event takes place
   • Start date and time: when it begins
   • End date and time: when it ends (must be after the start)
   • More information link: external URL with additional details (optional)
   • Event image: representative image for the event (optional; preferably square, JPG, PNG or WebP, 5 MB at most)

4. Assign tags to categorize the event (optional): under Tags, click the ones that apply. This section appears once your station has agenda tags

5. Save the event

Featured events

Tick Pin event so the event always appears at the top of the agenda, regardless of its date. You can also pin or unpin it later with the Pin and Unpin buttons on the event’s page.

Agenda Tags

Tags let you categorize events and make it easier for visitors to filter the agenda:

• Create tags like “Concerts”, “Workshops”, “Sports”, or “Kids”
• Assign one or more tags to each event
• On the public website, visitors can filter by tag

Creating a Tag

1. On the Agenda page, click Manage Tags at the top right. The Event Tags page opens
2. Click New Tag and fill in the Title and the Slug (URL identifier, generated from the title); the Description and Order are optional
3. Assign the tag to the relevant events from each event’s form

Event Visibility

Events are shown on the public website based on their date:

• Future events: displayed in the agenda as long as the end date has not passed
• Past events: automatically removed from the agenda when their end date has passed

Note

Past events are not deleted. They remain available in EnaCast Studio in case you need to consult them: on the Agenda page, tick Include past to see them in the list (they carry a Past label), or switch to the Calendar view.

Integrating the Agenda Into Your Website

The agenda can be integrated into your website pages in two ways:

• Dedicated agenda page: displays all upcoming events
• Agenda module: inserts a summary of upcoming events on any custom page, with a configurable number of events to show and optional tag filtering

Read Statistics

Each event records a read counter showing how many times it has been viewed; you will find it on the event’s page, opened with the View details icon in the list. This counter helps you identify what types of events generate the most interest among your audience.

Frequently Asked Questions

How Many Events Can I Create?

There is no limit on the number of events. You can create as many as you need.

Can I Create Recurring Events?

Currently there is no support for automatic recurring events. Each event is created individually: for a repeating event, create a new event for each date.

Does the Event Time Adapt to the Visitor’s Time Zone?

Events are displayed with the time configured in your station’s time zone.
