Bulk Operations

The Episodes and Podcasts lists in the management panel at studio.enacast.com let you select several items and apply one action to all of them at once. This is useful when you need to hide, show or delete many episodes, or change the settings of several programs together.

Selecting items

Individual selection

Tick the checkbox on the left of each row. You can select as many items as you need.

Select all

Tick the header checkbox of the table to select or deselect every item in the list.

Note

In Episodes, the list shows 10 episodes per page and the header checkbox selects only the ones on the current page. Switching tabs or turning on the With issues filter clears the selection.

Available actions

As soon as at least one item is selected, the action buttons appear along with the number of selected items.

In the episode list

In the sidebar, under Content, open Episodes:

Action	Description
Show	Makes the selected episodes visible on the website
Hide	Hides the selected episodes from the public website
Delete	Deletes the selected episodes

All three actions ask for confirmation before they are applied.

In the podcast list

In the sidebar, under Content, open Podcasts:

Action	Description
Activate / Deactivate	Marks or unmarks the programs as On Air
Show / Hide	Shows or hides the programs in the public website’s lists (see Registering a Programme)
Enable Insights / Disable Insights	Turns transcription and AI analysis on or off for the programs (see Transcriptions and AI Insights)

These actions apply immediately, with no confirmation dialog. Clear empties the selection.

Workflow

1. Open the relevant list (Episodes or Podcasts)
2. Optionally, apply filters or a search to narrow down the items
3. Select the items with the checkboxes
4. Click the action you want to apply
5. Confirm the operation if asked

Deleting is permanent

Deleting episodes cannot be undone. Check your selection carefully before confirming. If in doubt, start with a small group of episodes to check the result, or use Hide, which you can reverse with Show.

Tips

• Use filters before selecting: they help you find exactly the items you need to change
• Check your selection: before applying an action, check how many items are selected
• Work page by page: in the episode list, process episodes one page at a time
• Combine with CSV export: if you need to review the data before acting, export the episode list as CSV and review it in a spreadsheet
