Multi-week schedules and the holiday calendar — 19 September 2026

Schedules

Schedule periodicity. A regular schedule no longer has to be weekly: the Repeats dropdown offers Every week (the default, the behaviour you already know), Every 2 weeks, Every 3 weeks and Every 4 weeks. Picking more than one week reveals the Reference airing, a date the program actually airs on, which decides which weeks are on; the Next airings are always shown underneath.
Skip dates. Inside Advanced, every schedule accepts a list of dates the program does not air on, even when the week is on. Use it to skip a public holiday or a week off without touching the schedule.
The grid understands weeks. In Grid View, a multi-week schedule is only drawn on the weeks it airs, with a badge such as ×2 wk; List View has a Recurrence column. The same rule applies to automatic recording, the website’s public grid, the now-playing programme and the “next programme”.
One single schedule form. The form is the same from the Schedules page and from the podcast’s page. It now takes the End Time instead of a duration in minutes (the Duration is worked out for you), several days can be ticked at once, and the program is locked when editing.

Holiday calendar. The Holidays and Public Holidays card in Settings now holds a list of periods: first day, last day (leave it empty for a single day), an optional label and Repeat every year for local holidays and the Christmas break. You can mark as many periods as you like, as far in advance as you like; recordings stop and resume by themselves.
Your old dates were kept. The old holiday start/end pair is gone; if you had dates set, they were automatically converted into a calendar period.
The manual switch stays, now as Pause recordings now: it stops every recording immediately, whatever the calendar says, until you turn it off.
The panel tells you: the dashboard shows On holidays today, On holidays until … or Next holidays: …, and in the Grid View of Schedules the holiday days are dimmed and carry the Holiday label.
Special broadcasts keep recording during holidays, as before.

Holiday notice on the grid. On days marked as holidays, the website’s programming grid shows “The station is on holiday: no regular schedule today” instead of an empty column.
On the program’s page, a multi-week schedule reads “Monday 19:00 - 20:00 · every 2 weeks”.

Hidden program = unlisted, not private. A program marked Hidden program does not appear on the programs page, the sidebars, the home page modules, the sitemap or the public website’s search, but its page, its episode list, every episode and its RSS feed work for anyone who has the link. Until now those pages answered a 404 error. The pages of a hidden program ask search engines not to index them and do not offer the episode search box.
Episodes of hidden programs no longer show up in the website’s search results (command palette and per-program search).
