Replaced audio in the audio editor — October 18, 2026

  • The audio editor shows the audio you put in. If you replace the audio of an existing episode, with Upload MP3 or Extract from 24h, the episode shows Audio replaced and the audio editor works on that new audio. Before, it kept showing the original recording, and moving a cut handle re-trimmed the recording and threw away the audio you had put in.
  • On an episode with replaced audio you can add and move markers, but not trim it: if the clip is not the right one, replace the audio again. The original recording is kept.
  • The same applies to episodes edited in the Audio studio (early access): the editor no longer shows cut handles.
  • The episode’s transcript and AI analysis still belong to the previous audio.
