Managing Episodes

EnaCast gives you tools to manage your station’s episodes: find specific episodes, filter them, show, hide or delete several at once, and export the list as CSV.

Episode list

Open the management panel at studio.enacast.com. In the sidebar, under Content, open Episodes. The list shows all of the station’s episodes, newest first, 10 at a time. Each episode has these columns:

Column	What it shows
Title	The episode’s title, image and identifier; if it has been trimmed, a ✂ mark (cut, Cut by AI or Edited in the studio)
Program	The program it belongs to
Date	The recording date and time
Duration	The audio’s duration (the trimmed one, if the episode has been trimmed)
Plays	The number of plays
Trans.	The transcription status
AI	The AI analysis status (title, summary, tags and markers)
Status	Visible or Hidden; if the recording is not valid, Failed recording instead of Visible

At the end of each row there are three icons: Preview audio, Edit and Delete. Click the Title, Program, Date, Duration or Plays header to sort the list by that column. Each status icon is explained in Status Indicators.

Tabs and filters

Above the list there are three tabs: All, Visible and Hidden. Below them, the filters:

Filter	Description
Show	Shows only one program’s episodes; All shows clears the filter
Date	Filters by a date range: pick a shortcut (Today, this week, Last 7 days, Last 30 days, This month, Last month, This year, Last year) or fill in From and To. Reset clears the filter
With issues	Shows only the episodes that could not be transcribed or analyzed

Tip

Filters combine with each other and with the tabs. For example, you can list one program’s hidden episodes from last month.

Search

The Search by title, program… field searches the episode title, its description and the program name. It does not search inside transcripts: the public website’s search does that.

Bulk actions

Tick the checkbox of several episodes and the Show, Hide and Delete buttons appear to the right of the filters:

1. Select the episodes by ticking their checkboxes (the header checkbox selects every episode on the page)

2. Click Show, Hide or Delete

3. Confirm the action in the dialog

Caution

Deleting cannot be undone. Make sure you have selected the right episodes before confirming.

Export to CSV

The Export CSV button, top right, downloads a CSV file with the episodes shown in the list: the current page, with the filters and sort order applied. The file has these columns:

• Title
• Program
• Date
• Duration (sec)
• Edited duration (sec)
• Plays
• Hidden
• Audio URL

Note

The export contains only the episodes on the page you are viewing (up to 10). To export other episodes, go to the next page and export again.

Custom reports

Open the CSV file in a spreadsheet (LibreOffice Calc, Google Sheets, Microsoft Excel) to build pivot tables, charts or reports from your episode data. See Export Data as CSV.

Episode page

Click a row to open the episode’s page. From there you can:

• Edit the title, description, image and publish date
• Open Audio / Markers, the audio editor, to trim the audio and manage markers
• View transcript (if the episode has been transcribed) in the transcription viewer
• See the markers and the AI insights (title, description and tags generated by the AI)
• See and correct the status of the program’s regular sections in the episode (Regular sections card)
• Check the episode’s plays
• Show or Hide the episode, or Delete it

Frequently asked questions

Can I see episodes from all programs at once?

Yes. By default the list shows all of the station’s episodes. Use the Show filter if you want to focus on one program.

Can deleted episodes be recovered?

No. Once an episode is deleted, it disappears from the panel and the public website. If you only want to take it off the website, use Hide.

How do I find episodes that were not transcribed?

Turn on the With issues filter: it shows the episodes that were not transcribed or analyzed because the plan’s daily limit was reached, because the process failed, or because it is taking longer than usual. Episodes from programs without transcription enabled do not appear there, because they are not an issue. See Transcriptions and AI Insights.
