In the EnaCast admin panel and public website you will find various visual indicators that inform you of the status of your content at a glance. Here is what each one means.
Each episode shows the status of its transcription process:
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Pending | The episode is queued waiting to be transcribed |
| In progress | The transcription is currently being processed |
| Completed | The transcription and AI insights are available |
| Not transcribed | The episode was not transcribed (transcription disabled or daily budget exhausted) |
Episodes may show indicators related to audio trimming:
| Indicator | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Untrimmed | The episode retains the full original recording (published after 30-minute wait) |
| Trimmed | The audio has been trimmed manually or automatically (published after 5-minute wait) |
| AI suggestion | The AI has detected recommended start and end points for trimming |
When transcription is completed, AI insights are displayed as indicators:

| Generated title | The AI has generated a descriptive title for the episode |
| Summary | A long and short summary of the content has been generated |
| Tags | Keywords have been generated to categorise the episode |
| Sections | Automatic topic-based markers have been detected |
| Quotes | Notable phrases have been extracted from the transcription |
News articles display a coloured badge according to their current status:

|---|---|
| Published (green) | The article is visible on the website |
| Draft (orange) | The article is saved but not publicly visible |
| Scheduled (blue) | The article will be automatically published at the indicated date |
| Featured (red) | The article is pinned as featured on the homepage |
Programs have several indicators shown on their page:

| On air | The program is currently broadcasting according to the schedule |
| Featured | The program appears in a prominent position on the website |
| Hidden | The program is not shown in public listings |
| Records | Automatic recording is enabled for this program |
| Transcribes | Automatic transcription is enabled |
The live broadcast status is shown in the panel and on the public website:

| Online (green) | The stream is active and listeners can tune in |
| Offline (red) | No audio is being received at the servers |
When the station is in holiday mode, a special indicator is displayed:

| On holiday | The station is in holiday mode: nothing is recorded or scheduled automatically |
Watch out for holiday mode
When holiday mode is active, programs are not recorded even if they are scheduled. This is one of the most common mistakes: forgetting to disable holiday mode when returning from a period of inactivity. See the common mistakes guide for more information.
In the station settings section you can see:

When the AI analyses a news article or transcription, it can detect entities and display them with coloured tags:
