Regular sections and people — 27 September 2026
Regular sections
Section titled “Regular sections”- On each program’s page, the new Regular sections card lets you declare the segments that come back every week: name, description, guests, image, usual days and approximate minute and duration.
- The AI analysis uses them as hints in new episodes: when it finds a section, it aims for one marker titled with its name and the day’s topic (“Technology with Albert: how to protect your passwords”) that takes its image (it may split a section into several markers). It also records when an expected section was Absent or aired on another weekday (Moved). Episodes already analysed are not reprocessed.
- The AI uses them only in episodes longer than 23 minutes with full transcription, and records a status only when it is sure.
- The schedule form reminds you of the sections expected on the days you tick, and the Image Library filters find the images of people and sections.
- Detect regular sections: the AI reads the analysed episodes of the last 8 weeks (up to 60 episodes with markers, the first 30 markers of each and about 300,000 characters in all; the window says which period it read) and proposes the segments it has seen in at least two different weeks, with the episodes where it found them and the ones where they were absent. Each proposal can be accepted (Accept), edited (Edit) or discarded (Discard). Proposals are saved: if you leave the page and come back, they are still there. If a decision cannot be saved, the proposal returns to the list with an error or, when the section was already created, a notice offers Save Again; an edited proposal named like an existing section can be accepted with Use the Existing Section. Detection does not use the transcription budget.
- The episode page shows each expected section’s status and lets you correct it; no later analysis changes a manual status, EnaCast keeps the AI’s verdict aside and shows it (“AI said: …”), Confirm turns the AI’s status into a manual one and Let the AI decide goes back to the AI’s verdict, and Add note adds a note. In the audio editor, the marker’s Regular section field links a marker to its section; linking it by hand sets the episode to Aired (also over a manual Absent), and removing that link undoes it when no other marker of the episode is linked to the section.

People
Section titled “People”- New People page under Content: the radio’s hosts, collaborators, section guests and writers, with photo, bio and links. Only radio admins can delete people (the confirmation lists where the person is used and warns when they are a program’s only host) and see their email. When you edit a person, View on website opens their public page. Program editors can edit only people used in their own programs and sections. Names match regardless of capitals and accents.
- Each radio now has its own people. Before, the same person could be shared by several radios; now there is a copy on each, and the list already includes the hosts and collaborators of the radio’s programs.
- In Authors, Same person as links a news byline to a person.
Guide: People.
Public website
Section titled “Public website”- Each regular section has its page with every time it aired (the markers linked to the section, except episodes set to Absent by hand). Each broadcast plays only its clip of the full episode, and Play all plays them one after another.
- Each person with something public (a section, a program or news) has a page with their sections, programs and latest articles. Section guests and linked bylines lead to it.
- Page addresses do not change when a section or a person is renamed.
- These pages are part of radio websites built with EnaCast; the WordPress plugin does not have them.
Audio studio: clean voice
Section titled “Audio studio: clean voice”- Clean Voice removes background noise, hum and hiss from the speech of a clip, the selection or the whole project, with three strengths (Light, Medium, Strong). It runs on the server in the background: you can keep editing or close the studio, and the clips switch to the clean audio by themselves when it is ready. Restore Original undoes a clip’s cleanup; the original audio is never modified.
- It is part of the Audio studio, in early access (Beta).
