Image Gallery
EnaCast includes an image gallery module that lets you organize your station’s photos into albums, tag them, and display them on your public website.
Albums
Section titled “Albums”Albums are the main organizational unit of the gallery. Each album groups a set of images under a title and description.
Creating an Album
Section titled “Creating an Album”-
Go to the gallery section in the administration panel

Click “New album”

Fill in the album details:
- Title: album name (required)
- Description: descriptive text that will be displayed alongside the album
- Tags: categories for filtering the album on the public website
- Published: check if you want the album to be visible on the website

Save the album
Visibility
Section titled “Visibility”Each album has a published checkbox that controls whether it is visible on the public website:
- Published: the album and its photos are shown in the gallery section of the website
- Unpublished: the album is only visible from the administration panel, useful for preparing content before publishing
Uploading Images
Section titled “Uploading Images”Once the album is created, you can upload images:

Open the album you want to add photos to

Click “Add image” or drag files directly

Select the images you want to upload (you can select multiple at once)

Add information to each image:
- Caption: a descriptive caption
- Description: additional text (optional)

Save the images
Reordering Images
Section titled “Reordering Images”Images within an album are displayed in an order you can customize:
- Each image has a weight (a number) that determines its position in the list
- Images with a lower weight appear first
- You can change the order by dragging images or editing the weight value directly
Tags let you organize and filter albums and images:
- You can create custom tags (for example: “Interviews”, “Events”, “Studio”)
- Tags can be assigned to both albums and individual images
- On the public website, visitors can filter the gallery by tags
Creating a Tag
Section titled “Creating a Tag”- Go to the gallery tags section in the administration panel
- Create a new tag with a name and a slug (URL identifier)
- Assign the tag to the relevant albums or images
Display Templates
Section titled “Display Templates”The gallery can be integrated into your website pages with two different formats:

| Grid | Shows images in a thumbnail grid. Ideal for albums with many photos |
| Carousel | Shows images in a sliding carousel. Ideal for featuring a few images |
The template is chosen when inserting a gallery module into a custom page on your website.
Managing Existing Albums
Section titled “Managing Existing Albums”From the album list you can:
- Edit the title, description, and tags
- Change visibility (publish or unpublish)
- Delete an album and all its images
- View the visit count for each album

Section titled “What Image Formats Are Accepted?”The most common formats are accepted: JPEG, PNG, and WebP.
Is There a Limit on Images per Album?
Section titled “Is There a Limit on Images per Album?”There is no strict limit, but we recommend not exceeding 200 images per album to maintain a good loading experience on the website.
Are Images Automatically Resized?
Section titled “Are Images Automatically Resized?”Yes. EnaCast automatically generates different thumbnail sizes to optimize website loading, without modifying the original image.
