Managing Episodes

EnaCast gives you tools to efficiently manage your station’s episodes: search for specific episodes, filter by different criteria, apply actions to multiple episodes at once, and export data to CSV.

From the administration panel, the episodes view shows you a list of all episodes for your station (or the selected program). For each episode you can see:

  • Title of the episode
  • Program it belongs to
  • Recording date
  • Duration
  • Status: whether it’s published, pending processing, etc.
  • AI indicators: whether it has been transcribed, if insights have been generated

You can filter episodes to quickly find what you’re looking for:

FilterDescription
ProgramShow only episodes from a specific program
DateFilter by date range (from-to)
StatusFilter by publication or processing status

Use the search field to find episodes by their title or content. Search works on:

  • The episode title
  • The description
  • The transcript content (if available)

Bulk actions let you apply changes to multiple selected episodes at once, saving time when you need to manage many episodes.

  1. Select the episodes by checking the corresponding boxes in the list

  2. Choose the action from the bulk actions dropdown menu

  3. Confirm the action

The most common bulk actions include:

  • Publish: set selected episodes as published
  • Unpublish: remove episodes from publication
  • Delete: delete selected episodes

You can export the episode list to a CSV file for analysis with external tools:

  1. Apply the filters you need to select the episodes you want to export

  2. Click the export CSV button

  3. Download the file containing the data for the filtered episodes

The CSV file includes information such as:

  • Episode title
  • Program
  • Recording date
  • Duration
  • Number of plays
  • Transcription status

From the list, click on any episode to access its edit view, where you can:

  • Modify the title and description
  • View and edit the transcript
  • Access the audio editor for trimming
  • View markers and sections
  • Check the episode’s statistics
  • View AI-generated insights (summary, tags, quotes)

Can I View Episodes From All Programs at Once?

Section titled “Can I View Episodes From All Programs at Once?”

Yes. The episode list shows all episodes from the station by default. You can filter by program if you want to focus on a single one.

No. Once an episode is deleted, it cannot be recovered. The original audio is kept in EnaCast storage for a period of time, but the episode disappears from the panel and the public website.

How Do I Find Episodes Without Transcription?

Section titled “How Do I Find Episodes Without Transcription?”

Use the status filter to view episodes that don’t have a transcription. This lets you identify which episodes were not processed.
