Modular Pages
Modular pages are one of EnaCast’s most powerful features. They let you create custom pages by combining different content modules that stack vertically. You can use a modular page as your website’s homepage or as themed landing pages.
What Is a Modular Page?
Section titled “What Is a Modular Page?”A modular page is a page composed of content blocks (modules) that you can add, reorder, and configure individually. Each module displays a different type of content:

| Episodes | Shows the latest episodes from a show or from the entire station |
| News | Shows the latest news, optionally filtered by tag |
| Image gallery | Shows a photo gallery |
| YouTube videos | Shows videos from a channel, playlist, or managed videos |
| Custom page | Inserts the content of an existing custom page |
| Ad banners | Shows a banner group |
| Events | Shows upcoming events from the calendar |
| Iframe | Inserts external content via an iframe |
Creating a Modular Page
Section titled “Creating a Modular Page”- Log in to the EnaCast admin panel
- Go to the Modular pages section
- Click Create modular page
- Fill in the basic fields:
- Name: the page title
- Slug (friendly URL): the page address on your website
- Cover image (optional): a header image for the page
- Homepage: enable this option if you want this to be your website’s main page
- Enabled: activate the page to make it visible
- Save the page
Adding Modules
Section titled “Adding Modules”Once the page is created, you can add modules from the admin panel:
- Open the modular page you want to edit
- Select the module type you want to add
- Configure the module (select the show, tag, banner group, etc.)
- Set the module’s order (a number that determines its vertical position on the page)
- Indicate whether you want it shown on desktop, mobile, or both
- Save the module
Reordering Modules
Section titled “Reordering Modules”Each module has an order field that controls its position on the page. Modules with a lower number appear higher up.
Episodes Module
Section titled “Episodes Module”The episodes module shows the latest published episodes. You can configure:
- Show: select a specific show or leave it empty to display episodes from all shows
- Show tag (optional): filter episodes by tag
- Number of episodes: how many episodes to display
- Template: the visual design of the module
News Module
Section titled “News Module”The news module shows the latest published news articles. You can configure:
- Tag: filter by a specific news tag, or show all
- Number of articles: how many articles to display
- Template: simple list, medium card, or large card
- Orientation: vertical or horizontal
Footer Link
Section titled “Footer Link”Just like custom pages, modular pages can show a link in the footer of your website:
- Edit the modular page
- Enable Show link in footer
- Set the link position
- Save the changes
Homepage
Section titled “Homepage”To set a modular page as your website’s homepage:
- Edit the modular page you want to use as the homepage
- Enable the Homepage option
- Save the changes
The homepage is the first thing visitors see when they access your website.
Frequently Asked Questions
Section titled “Frequently Asked Questions”How Many Modules Can I Add to a Page?
Section titled “How Many Modules Can I Add to a Page?”There is no strict limit. You can add as many modules as you need, although it is recommended not to overload the page to maintain good loading speed.
Can I Have Multiple Modular Pages?
Section titled “Can I Have Multiple Modular Pages?”Yes, you can create multiple modular pages. Each will have its own URL, and you can link them from navigation menus.
Do Modules Update Automatically?
Section titled “Do Modules Update Automatically?”Yes, modules always display the most recent content. For example, the news module will automatically show the latest published articles without needing to manually update the page.
Can I Hide a Module on Mobile?
Section titled “Can I Hide a Module on Mobile?”Yes, each module has options to control whether it is shown on desktop, mobile, or both.
