YouTube and Vimeo Videos
EnaCast lets you manage an integrated video library on your station’s website. You can add videos from YouTube and Vimeo, organize them with tags, and display them on your site’s pages.
Adding a Video
Section titled “Adding a Video”- Log in to the EnaCast admin panel
- Go to the Videos section
- Click Add video
- Fill in the fields:
- Name: the video title
- Description (optional): a short description of the content
- Video URL: the full YouTube or Vimeo video URL
- Tags (optional): select one or more tags to categorize the video
- Order: a number to control the display order
- Pin to top: enable this option if you want the video to always appear first
- Save the video

Video Tags
Section titled “Video Tags”Just like news articles, videos can be organized with tags. Video tags are separate from news tags and let you create specific categories for your video library.
For example, you could create tags like:
- Interviews
- Reports
- Live
- Music clips
Creating a Video Tag
Section titled “Creating a Video Tag”- In the Videos section, go to Video tags
- Click Create tag
- Enter the name, slug (URL identifier), and optionally a description
- Save the tag
Pinning a Video
Section titled “Pinning a Video”You can pin a video so it always appears at the top of the list. Additionally, you can set a pin expiration date: once that date is reached, the video will be automatically unpinned.
This is useful for highlighting important content for a limited time, such as a special interview or event coverage.
Playback Statistics
Section titled “Playback Statistics”EnaCast records the play count for each video. You can view this information from the admin panel to see which videos generate the most interest from your audience.
Displaying Videos on Your Website
Section titled “Displaying Videos on Your Website”Videos can be shown on your website in two ways:
YouTube Module in Modular Pages
Section titled “YouTube Module in Modular Pages”When creating or editing a modular page, you can add a YouTube module that displays videos from different sources:

| Playlist | Shows videos from a YouTube playlist |
| Single video | Displays a single embedded video |
| Managed videos | Shows videos manually added in the EnaCast videos section, optionally filtered by tag |
Frequently Asked Questions
Section titled “Frequently Asked Questions”Can I Add Videos From Other Platforms?
Section titled “Can I Add Videos From Other Platforms?”Currently only YouTube and Vimeo are supported. If you need to embed videos from other platforms, you can do so using a custom page module with the HTML embed code.
Does the Channel Module Update Automatically?
Section titled “Does the Channel Module Update Automatically?”Yes, when using the “Channel” or “Playlist” type, videos are fetched directly from YouTube and updated automatically.
Can I Control How Many Videos Are Displayed?
Section titled “Can I Control How Many Videos Are Displayed?”Yes, when configuring the YouTube module you can specify the number of videos to show.
