Frequently Asked Questions

EnaCast records and stores audio in MP3 format. If you upload a file in another format (WAV, AAC, OGG, FLAC, WMA, Opus, AIFF, among others), the system automatically converts it to MP3. You don’t need to worry about the format — EnaCast handles the conversion.

What Happens if the Stream Drops During Recording?

Section titled “What Happens if the Stream Drops During Recording?”

If the audio stream is interrupted during a recording, the system attempts to reconnect automatically. The recording continues when the signal is recovered. If the stream is unavailable when a scheduled recording should begin, the system detects this and sends an alert to the station team.

Yes. You can re-trim an episode as many times as you need. EnaCast always preserves the original recording intact and works from it for each trim. If you’re not satisfied with a cut, simply choose new start and end points and trim again. See the Trim and Edit a Podcast guide for how to do this.

How Do I Distribute My Podcast to Spotify or Apple Podcasts?

Section titled “How Do I Distribute My Podcast to Spotify or Apple Podcasts?”

EnaCast generates an RSS feed for each show, compatible with all podcast platforms. To distribute your content:

  1. Copy the RSS feed URL for your show from the administration panel
  2. Go to the Spotify for Podcasters or Apple Podcasts Connect portal
  3. Submit the RSS feed URL to register your show

Once registered, the platforms automatically pick up new episodes as you publish them.

The EnaCast interface is available in Catalan, Spanish, English, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, and Dutch.

Automatic transcription works in any language — the system automatically detects the language of the audio.

Can Multiple Users Manage the Same Station?

Section titled “Can Multiple Users Manage the Same Station?”

Yes. You can have multiple users associated with the same station, each with their own login. There are different permission levels:

  • Station administrator: full access to all shows and settings
  • Group administrator: manages multiple stations within a group
  • Program access: limited access to specific shows, ideal for external collaborators or presenters
